We will not assign any applicant that has not successfully completed each
stage of our stringent assessment and selection and safeguarding guidelines
as defined in our recruitment procedures which are accredited by the REC
Quality Mark, ISO 9000:2000 and adhere to the most recent guidance set
out by the Independent Safeguarding Authority (as of 12th October 2009).
Below is an outline of our current vetting procedure:
- GTC Confirmation (as appropriate to role)
- ISA Barred List (incorporating POCA, PoVA and List 99 to be renamed
“ISA First”)
- Fully Enhanced CRB Disclosure
- New CRB applied if break in educational service >3 months
- Portability. New CRB applied for if >24 months since date of issue
- Minimum most recent 2 years’ references
- 10 years documented work history
- All gaps in classroom working history checked and verified
- Overseas police check
- Proof of ID and Right to Work in the UK
- Evidence of Qualifications and Training
- Face to Face interview with a Specialist Consultant
